About Me

Overdue for a 40+ lber.! Hope it comes this year for the team!  Did catch a 51 lber. in 86 off Newport. Biggest from shore 37lbs. out in Little Compton. Former Grand Slam Winner of the Christopher Potts Tournament. Love catching Tautog with my biggest weighing in at 14.5 lbs. also in 86. Only got into Fluke fishing about 10 years ago now and love that action too 10.5 is my biggest off second beach. Also biggest bluefish 2 years in a row in the Sgt. Christopher Potts Tournament.

Glad to hear you like how the web site is looking. Can't believe I didn't weigh a shore scup either, time gets away from me am probably about done this year; Joe's closed so no more crabs, but Bucko's probably still has em. Might try one more shore trip for Tog from Navy base. You will have to teach me about the different scoring systems, not sure which one Ralph intends on using. Once the results are finial, Ralph, and Mike I guess will figure which system and who gedts what , go ahead and give Ralph the options if you want...G Ps send me some photos of year /fish if you have any...G

Nick, thanks for trhe Tog invite. Don't think I can get anymore work days off but might be able to slip out either SAt or Sunday next weekend. If they don't work for you don't worry about it and we can chase them another time. I'll put your blue up. Must have missed it but if its an official potts tourny fish then its logged for that so thats good enough for me. I'm trying to keep alittle life in the web site, hope you like it. G

scott may have to sign in from another computer. I have had this problem in the past and been unable to fix. Try to sign in all over agin and with a new id. As for bruce seveny... some people are on the team but not on the site. Not computer people. But he is registered for the annual tournament.

Glad to hear you are still nailing them, bet your wife had a blast with the big one, her best yet right? I'm picking away, my reef is starting to hold a few more fish, we will see what happens now that summer is settling in. Got searched by DEM last night after dark in boat, they were okay, i had no problem..

That's sweet Nick. Nice work, your having a helluva Spring and early Summer. I've had a fun start this year myself and several fish over 30, but your are killing it. Let's hope it continues - Craig

I agree with both of you (CCB and you) although I def do like sharing time on water with a good friend, but my focus is better when by myself.

I go by myself mostly because 3 am comes early for most guys or running out for a few hours for sunset gets complicated by wives etc, so eventualy i get tired of asking if they can come and just go by myself.

As for Art, I know he doesn't fish my spots or i would of already bumped into him, and the rest of his team is Cape cod based for the most part, so they arn't in my spots either, but its still like having a guy in the wrong locker room. If he didn't have that picture of Ralph boinking a goat he would be off the team....I am sure of it. G.

Nick, one problem....Art may be an AI guy but in the striper cup he fishes for Bass linesiders and Brew so that fish is thiers not ours..... G

Shore fishing in the bay is a struggle right now due to the green seaweed bloom, probably due to all the rain we have had this spring. Tired of reeling in salad and wasting good squid on spider crabs and skates. Maybe time to try a bobber?
