August Update!!

AIST is currently in 3rd place and well within striking distance of 2nd for the Striper Cup.  Mark Pachico took the month of June with a fine 36lb slob. Our very own  Vice President clinched the month of July with a 51 lber for AIST! Capt. Chip Parker put some meat on the deck the other night and submitted a fine 43 lb corker for our August Cup Entry. The Block still has a lot of big cows left in her and Cape Cod Bay is producing big fish from the East end of the Canal up to Race point. Gator blues have infested the bay and beaches. If you care to venture out front, try live lining some scup for those picky linesiders but be prepared for a blitz!

In other news, Tog just opened up and is getting off to a pretty decent start. Deeper water spots are producing more than shallow spots due to the scup. Offshore is hot with Tuna and Mahi from the north end of the DUMP to the Fingers. Fluke are always around but definitely seem to be deep. Block Island is the spot right now for a true doormat.

Our season long tournament is in full swing! Don't forget to fill out an AIST season long slip next time you hit the scales. We do not have very many submissions thus far but the season is just getting started! AIST will also take Striper Cup weigh slips as a substitute for an AIST slip.

Capt. Chip Parker with our top August Entry @ 43 lbs!!!
